Production process of Aluminium Alloy Mosaic

Purchasing aluminum material → Surface effect treatment → Surface cleaning (drying) → Coloring (use protective layer) → Drying → Sealing film → Cutting / stamping → Laying

We have factory covers an area of 2,000 square meters with 40 workers, with an average of 2 years of experience in aluminum mosaic production.
The factory has 5 professional technicians who are responsible for monitoring the various production processes.

Surface effect of Aluminium Alloy Mosaic

1. The surface effect is generally divided into:brushed, chaotic pattern, CD grain, sanding surface
2. The aluminum material is relatively thin, and the thickness of the aluminum strip should be paid attention to during the treatment. Otherwise, the aluminum material may be worn to wear.

3. Process introduction:
Wire drawing (Brushed): Like stainless steel wire drawing, the process is relatively simple and straightforward. Relatively speaking, the life of brushed aluminum is shorter, and less market demand. And it is easy to scratch, and now the factory is generally use ready-made brushed aluminium alloy.
Chaotic pattern: Generally it is polished by hand, because the effect of machine grinding is not as random as that of making by hands.
CD pattern: the surface is like a CD prototype effect, some hand lines and machine automatic lines. CD-patterned aluminum has a longer life than straight lines and requires a large amount of material. There is a deep or light color transition on the surface
Sanding surface: low output and difficult process. What he wants to produce in a sealed machine is to smash the surface of the aluminum.

Construction process and tips of Aluminium Alloy Mosaic

First, the mosaic of any material must be clean and tidy before construction. Aluminium Alloy Mosaic is no exception, and the requirements are more strict. In particular, it is necessary to check whether the wall is wet or cracked. Because the gas permeability of the metal mosaic is not as strong as that of the tile mosaic, even if there is no special gas performance, the water vapor will always be stored in the wall. The metal mosaic which will be mildewed on the wall for a long time will also cause the rubber on the background to fall off due to moisture.

Second, after the inspection work is completed, it is necessary to prepare the paving. First, the mosaic is determined on the wall to be laid, and then the line is determined by the pencil ruler. In the second step, the backing of the metal mosaic can be peeled off, and then it is pasted according to the position of the line. At this time, be careful not to use force to avoid minor adjustments in places where unevenness is later. After the third step of the metal mosaic is fully laid, you can use the ruler to gently level the surface, taking care not to force the metal surface to be broken. In the fourth step, the metal mosaic surface can be gently tapped with a small rubber hammer to make the adhesive and the wall adhere more firmly, especially at the edge. In the fifth step, the metal mosaic is no need to treated by jointing, so after the paving is applied, just peel off the protective film on the mosaic surface, and then wipe it with a soft cloth. Special tips here, because it is a metal material in order not to have a chemical reaction, be careful not to use acidic and alkaline cleaning agents to avoid black and rust on the mosaic surface.

Thirdly, after the metal mosaic is laid, it is better to have the space sealed for 48 hours. This period is the period when the adhesive is sticky. Therefore, do not use water to embed the mosaic to avoid the peeling effect caused by poor viscosity.
